Slow and Steady

 Day Nineteen - Thirty Days of Thanksgiving

This morning at 7:00 I popped a frozen chunk of meat into my crockpot and at 5:00 this evening we sat down to a lovely Pot Roast dinner. I'm so thankful for slow cookers! The slow and steady heat turns a solidly frozen hunk of meat into a mouthwatering, tender roast with no fuss or mess. And the scent of it cooking is tantalizing on an overcast, drizzly day in November.
